So rogue = pve and druid = pvp. That's what I tell myself. The sky is the limit with my swords rogue for raiding. Stuff I need drops off every boss everywhere, no threat problems, mana problems should I respec healing problems. A swords rogue is made to raid and that's what I'm going to do, a new concept for me. I was using a balance druid for that, those are made to go oom and get crafting professions to have decent gear because Blizzard doesn't have it drop in raids. There aren't enough raiding balance druids for blizzard to decide to put in loot in raids. They're aren't enough balance druids for blizzard to care, which is why they're aren't many balance druids. Crappy class/specs aren't played a lot because they are crappy. There would be plenty of balance druids if they fixed the issues they have. If mana, threat and itemization problems were fixed there would be lots of them.
So anyway, Blizzard doesn't have any problem with resto druids being overpowered in pvp though, I don't either. With a strong resto pvp build (which I will get next week) battlegrounds and arenas are quite fun. Just about every class has something they can excel at. Feral druids are great tanks and offtanks who can switch to dps depending on the encounter. Resto druids are strong raid healers and pvp healers. Balance druids are great dancers, not great at much else. Since I don't spend much time dancing I went pvp healing. Tree healing looks boring as hell and my feral gear is way behind my pvp healing gear.
Now my rogue is geared to raid and like I said before the are gear improvements that 90% of folks in the raid won't want. No taking loot others would want and my dps is pretty good. No gearing for 2 roles, no thinking I should respec for whatever reason. I stab things till they die and I like it. I think I'm about done rambling, no more Homerjay on my 3 vs 3 team, he just doesn't fit, I think the ms warrior, disc priest, resto druid combo will give us a chance for pretty high rating. I hope to find Homerjay a new team to play on, for some fun and arena points.
So all of you out there with your "off specs" give up, accept that Blizzard made your class/spec to do certain things, don't try to do other stuff, it'll just make you cry. I did and I love it. I'm not sure who I'm talking to, probably just myself.

NEVERRRRRRRR!!!!!
Stupid blogger thing making me post things and delete them. Blizzard made pally tanks viable and they excel where others don't. Balance druids excel at dancing, not dps
